My 10yo son needed a first base glove and we wanted to stay away from the major brands everyone knows. We had been doing some research on smaller give companies and decided to give Buckler a shot.
The website is very clean and easy to navigate. We decided to purchase the 12” Youth Select first base glove. No issues with delivery, received the glove in less than a week.
I love the shipping/packaging!!! Included with the glove was a drawstring bag to help protect the glove when not playing….please take note big box brands!!!!!
Buckler claims to break in the glove partially prior to shipping and they clearly take their time with this process. This is the very first glove I’ve bought for myself or my son that was able to be closed (thumb to finger) the first time it was worn. Thanks for that Buckler…the glove was practice ready out of the box which is great for kids.
I almost can’t believe the price point on these youth gloves. I have no doubt this glove will still be in perfect working condition long after he has grown out of it. The design and quality of these youth gloves is second to none.
***Most importantly, their customer service is exceptional!! I did send an email with a couple questions about availability for a glove for myself. Their response time was immediate and the reps who responded were very helpful with availability and options for me. They sent me pics and full descriptions of the gloves I asked about.
Along the way, my email was passed on to Brandon Min, glove designer and member of the senior leadership team at Buckler. It was impressive to me that he would take time out of his day to address a very minor issue from a 47yo dad trying to buy a single glove for his son. That level of service is not lost on someone like me and will help to make me a customer for life.

***Parents, Coaches, Youth league organizers take note!!!! Buckler has an incredible deal for youth custom gloves. I couldn’t find the info anywhere on their site ( this might be my only complaint about Buckler) but reach out and ask….theres a minimum 5 glove purchase but the price is less than half what the big brands charge for a custom glove. Great deal!!!!
