I did tons and tons of research, I had a list of 10 different brands of gloves, made pros and cons list. The Buckler won, and I can totally see why. It is top quality, exceptional leather, great glove, but sameprice as the cheap ones at academy.

I had never heard of this brand but took a chance and I was not disappointed! The quality and quick break in made this first base mitt fully broken in after just a few sessions of catch. My 8 year old loves it and we may be back for a pitching model next!

So far I don’t have any complaints. We’re just playing catch until it’s fully broken in for game. But my son love it so far

Got this glove for my 7 y.o. travel ball player. Fast break in and nice construction. A step up from his Wilson A500 which wore out fast between REC and travel. Happy with the purchase, looking at a catcher mitt for him already!

Great product, still breaking it in but looks great so far!

The Jr. Series lived up to our expectations and matched what we were looking for in a youth glove. The leather runs very soft (think Marucci Oxbow) for comparison. The finger channels are smaller and shallower than any leather youth glove I’ve seen at a department store, allowing for superior control and feel of the glove.

Possible Concerns: the jr series will probably only last a season given the soft leather (but you are purposely choosing soft leather over quality pro leather for the youth hand at this point)

In my opinion, the glove runs a tad small. We ordered an 11.5 and I wish we would have ordered an 11.75 or even a 12. The 11.5 almost feels like a training glove. Given the awesome finger channel design, you can feel comfortable ordering a size up if you are between sizes for your youth.

We used the first timer discount (gave our email) and the glove ended up being a fantastic price. Paid far less than other youth leather glove at a department store, and got a product we ended up being happier with.

Finally, we did give the glove a small amount of oil and a few break in sessions to really get it game ready. There are absolutely two clear hinge points on this glove and with proper care, our glove should last (at least until her next growth spurt)
